WWW

Thank you so much, Karl and Pavell for the space.  I plan on purchasing some web space this week for my own website, and I will set aside some space for this project as well.  Between the 3 of us, there should be no problem finding a place to upload/download to.

Thanks also to Bobby for providing those excellent suggestions for guidelines!  I completely agree with everything you listed, and I especially like the idea of one person being in charge of each song.  That will certainly help to organize the project in general.

FWIW, CEP does such an excellent job of converting mp3s that even they shouldn't pose any problems.  However, I'm all for wma's and ogg's.

I will set up a post this week with a link to web space, and I hope to have a basic song idea posted by the beginning of next week at the latest.

Thanks again to everyone who has expressed interest.  LET'S DO THIS THING!!!

Question:

Would it be possible to set up a user group or e-mail list for the people involved in this project to aid in the communication process?

Thanks,
Josh

Good idea Josh -
I finally got to the FTP site, and can see how cumbersome communicating via the text file could be.  Something set up more like this forum would be much better suited for the project.

Sure!

...actually...  how about a forum section dedicated to collaborating?  I'm sure there's more to be done than just this project!

Hey everyone!

Sorry I haven't posted anything about the collaboration project in so long.  I do have a couple of song ideas in mind to record for this thing.  However, life has just been hectic beyond belief.  I'm waiting for a particular client to schedule some recording time, and when he does, then I'll get this thing rolling.  I just have to know that enough money is going to come in to cover rent before I spend money on anything else.

Thanks for hanging in there everyone!
