You are aware this is a forum that's devoted to Cool Edit and Audition softwares?  They don't even run on a Mac!

If want critique on your music, then I think you would have a better response from a music oriented site, such as SoundClick.

Nice level of lead / backing vocals. Like the space with instruments. Sound of guitars. Level of bass.
Keys / piano/ lead guitars come in polished.

Regardless of what platform was used, the construction of this song is very good. Notice (headphones) some guitars must be panned hard left / right to have the "open" space in the center area - given to bass / drums / vocals / punched up rhythm / lead guitars.

Good song to study Re: producing music.

Now: Audition might be a great way to master this song via Parametric EQ / then Hardlimiting ( adding a small "bell" curve in the bass area ~ 150/200 Hz and highs / for air ~ 5kHz) just a bit (1.2). Scanning for neg freq is a good use of PEQ as well with Q=10.

Let's sell this musician on using Adobe Audition and not scare him away!!!! If he ever reads this post, there are software demos to try and really good / knowledgeable people to post with here. That's how I learn. And keep moving on......

Nice song. A bit to digital for me - transferring the 2 trk mix to tape would be nice. Even better, separate the music submix, the drum submix, and the vocals submix and have all three subs hit the tape at the same time through gentle compression..... create classic sound.

Have one chorus come through a 2" speaker like John Lennon used to do!!!!

I understand your sentiment, but this is a Mac user.  Trying to talk him into changing his whole studio, just to use an application he has no experience of, seems a bit of a waste of time to me.
