Hi Forum,

I need your help on this. On the following website are the jingles of One FM dance. When you listing to the basic ID jingle 1, you hear a beautiful delay / stuttering of FM. They did it on the "M" of FM.

It's nice to hear. Could anyone help me on the to create this? Or send me in the right direction?

Here are the examples

www.purejingles.com

And.....thanx guys!

Haven't listened, but all stuttering effects are basically a copy of the thing you want to stutter, pasted multiple times immediately after it - very easy to do, which is why it's done so much - almost to death, in fact.

(Bit of a clue there...  wink )

Thanks for your quick response, but a simple copy and paste I did several times. But I think this is diffrent.
Maybe you should listen to it to give more details please..

Okay, I listened to it - and it's what I said. I only explained the process - perhaps the technique is a little harder to get at. You need to separate out the repeated part so that it actually sounds like a repeat, rather than just an extension of the letter - which means that you might need to put a bit of silence around it. How much is a matter of experimentation. And probably you'll need to put some sort of slight reverb over it to cover up the obvious joins. But essentially it's exactly what I said it was - again....  rolleyes (Can't anybody come up with anything new and original in radio any more?)
