We just started using Cool Edit Pro at Citadel OKC. I am having problems with playing in the multitrack mode. Occasionly, when I'm zooming out, it stops playing.
I think it could be my computer in the production room. Anybody else had this problem?

The only thing I can think of that may be causing this is...
The play button plays what's on screen when you press it.
Lets say you have a 3 minute song. You are zoomed in so that you can currently see from 1:10 to 2:34. When you press play, it starts playing at 1:10 until it gets to 2:34. So if you press play and then zoom out, it's still going to stop at 2:34 mark because you pressed the play button and then zoomed out. If you zoomed out first and then press the play button, then it would play what's on the screen. If you want it to always play to the end of the song, you should press the button that says Play to end which is the play button with a circle around it.

Joel, I would say that the answer the Syntrillium support folks gave you is pretty accurate! However, you might want to invest in some upgrading on your computer equiptment as well.
