biscuit* Posts: 2	Posted - Thu Jan 18, 2001 9:50 am  I'm being forced to make the transition to Cool Edit for radio news editing at my station. I can't find one particular function in Cool that's an essential part of Goldwave: the ability to play everything on a wav file, EXCEPT the highlighted area. It's immensely helpful for hearing what your edit sounds like before you make it. Using undo repeatedly to sharpen your edit is not the answer when you're up against news deadlines. What am I missing? Can anyone help?
Chiefgunner Posts: 35	Posted - Mon Jan 22, 2001 6:58 pm  Are you using Cool Edit or Cool Edit Pro? If you are using Cool Edit Pro I would suggest using muli-track edit for editing your news. You can highlight and insert only the cuts you want into mult-track and listen as you go.
