http://vb-audio.com has a Direct-X Plug-ins manager called FFX16 Rack.
I can't find a place to download a demo or bye it?
Can anyone help?

Sorry if this sounds basic... just checking.
So you opened DXMAN, selected the plug in, then deleted it via the "remove button". Next you went to the plug-in and used their uninstall feature or went to control panel and uninstalled it there or, if neither of those options were available, just deleted the folder with the plug ins. Open Cool Edit, go to transform.DirectX and click the "refresh this list" option at the bottom.
If that was what you did, DXMAN has always worked for me. If that was not what you did, try reinstalling the plug in, then following that procedure. Let us know if that did not work.

So close the first time ...
The only plug ins manager that I've found that will eliminate a deleted plug in that won't remove itself from the CEP Transforms/DX list is at http://www.vb-audio.com/
It's right at the bottom of the DX rack page, and it's freeware.

That is a good one. I have both and they both work fine for me .... if the one from vb doesn't, try reinstalling then deleting with either one. Good luck

lol...oooooo boy...no. no. no. Neither works! Dxman STILL shows my already-uninstalled plug-in on its list AND on the CE2000 DirectX list. The other app., DXUninstaller from the vb-audio.com site, doesnt even show the uninstalled plug-in at all that is, according to the program, 'installed in the registry.' So, that brings to mind a question: If DXUninstaller didnt detect it installed in the registry, is the plug-in gone? If so, how can I remove the listing from CE2000's DirectX listing? Again, ANY help here is greatly appreciated. Thx again.
