hdrieman Posts: 1	Posted - Fri Apr 13, 2001 3:24 pm  Hi, Can anyone solve my (little) problem? I cannot hear my Windows sounds, when receiving mail. I just hear a computerbeep. All other kinds of sounds I can hear. In the settingpanel and Sounds I can hear the windows sounds during testing, but not in real action. Is there a corruption in DirectX or the Registry? I run Windows 2000 Dutch. Thanks Hans Drieman
Harvey Posts: 8	Posted - Sat Apr 14, 2001 7:50 pm  Hans, Did the sounds ever work correctly? If you right click on my computer and select properties,hardware, device manager. Look to see if there is any yellow exclamation marks next to your soundcard that is listed. If there is you may need to reload the Windows 2000 driver for your sound card. If not you may want to try an inplace upgrade or repair to restore the system in case there is any coruption. I hope this helps you. Harvey
