Hi to all. I posted this yet in another forum, but I think this would be the right place: It's about Mics, pre-ambs and EQ. First: I am working just with voice for radio-features. I am using a good mic, I think, the AKG-TPS D3700, but I am using my minidisc-player like pre-amb. The sound is good, but a little bit boring. It could be have a little bit more presence. (But I don't like the compressed sound!)
I would like to know your experience about the EQ of the CE2000. Wouldn't it be better to buy a little mixer with a pre-amb for the mic and a EQ? Thanks!

The EQ on both CEP and CE 2000 is fine and functional. If you're not happy with your mic sound, change the mic or pre AMP, and don't try to fix it with EQ. An pre AMP other than your MD with make a colossal differece!!!!!!! If you want to go through a mixer, any of the small Mackie are great. If you just want to add a pre AMP try the A.R.T. Tube MP
