Hello everyone!!! At first I thought I might be a little gun shy after Mr. Jackman's statement there in the response,,but lol.. Hey at my age not much really makes me nervous.
Anyway,, I broadcast my little radio show strictly on the internet for almost a year now..and I am getting more and more positive feedback all the time..
Although I consider my studio pretty barebones and all.(saving money for a combo limiter/compressor).. One of the aspects that people seem to comment on is the fact that the show is live on the internet,, everything from the my yacccking to the live read commercials..
I use Media Encoder to send the show out on.. and even though the V.U. meter on that program isnt too bad for giving me sight in real time,,It is nothing like the accuracy of the cool edit V.U. meters..Is thier anyway possible to run that program in the background of my Media Player window?..Thinking my S.Blaster card will not allow me to run both Apps. at the same time.
On a side note,,I did a remote show last week,, and because I am wireless,,My wireless company was still able to to aim the Dish at the moutain top where the tower is located..Now I am starting to get some interest from a local Radio station in running remotes on simacast situation.. (Can't say I want to carry around a couple of CPU's and monitors all the time lol )
I love Syntrillium forums.. I read them all the time..(which maybe tells you where my life is at :-) )

Actually I'm really a great big *****cat. Just don't get me started in rant mode!
Hey congratulations on paving the way into the future. My assistant/co-conspirator for the last 12 years just left to move into internet radio in a big way. Check out www.bonzaroo.com
You can probably made enough from the radio stations doing remotes to make it worth your while. We've been wireless for a good long time on remote (using microwave gear), and it's a tremedous advantage to us vs. Bell lines for our competitor. If you're still gun-shy about tearing out your system to drag it across town twice a week, get them to pay for the hardware and pay you to run it on remote ... you'd be surprised at what radio stations can get for free!

That's interesting. That's the first time I've been censored on a forum. To decode, I called MYSELF a gentle little kitty cat, only using the P-word.
Dear Syntrillium:
You may have the detection level set a smidge high ...
