I would like to set up my commputer so that it automaticaly dials our ftp site(about 3am), and downloads all the soundfiles that have been posted since my previous visit. Anybody out there doing this?

Not here to endorse any other products ... but the software I use for the same task (and just about anything else you want to want your computer to do at specific times) is AutoMate from Unisyn ... http://www.unisyn.com/automate/

I had CuteFTP set to do this. I stopped doing it when I got higher speed internet access. I found setting up and sorting through and automated download (or upload for that matter) to be more trouble than it was worth.
