I've emailed tech support at ozone about this, but thought I would toss it out here as well while I await a response. Fade out, or simply decaying sounds become ruined after applying several of the ozone2 presets, notably the cd mastering one. This one essentially sets up a dither, and applies some loudness stuff too. Ozone 1 never caused any problems this way (it didn't dither, either), so I wonder if the dither settings are correct (and I do know not to dither in the host after O2 does it, besides it still ruins the decay before changing to 16 bit), or if there's some other strange thing happening. The transforms do good things to the rest of the file.
This is using cool2000 as the mastering host. any ideas?
