Does the UAD-1 unit work with CEP 2.0? I'd really like to try that mofo out.
thanks

Hello Brad. I'd probably send an email to prosupport@syntrillium.com
I know we've got one here, and from what I gather, it does work, but it's rather slow and shaky in terms of response. Again, I'm not 100% certain, so drop them a line.

So do tell. Does it work or doesn't it? I, too, am interested in this...

So, as the M.D said, drop them a line.

Here's the official response...
We have not tested this specific device, however we will work with any
Sound Card (Use it as a Sound Card) that uses MME or WDM drivers. We do not
support ASIO drivers or VST effects at this time. As long as the device
uses these types of drivers, you will be fine to use it as a Sound Card in
CEP2.0.
Sincerely,
Ron Day,

Please do a search, this question has been covered as well as I think it can(being that not many are using it).

Just go for it!!
I am going to as soon as the UAD-8 i/o comes out, if you want to wait that long I'll let you know how it goes!
Of course I will be migrating to Nuendo too, due to the fact that it gives mixer and FX automation.
