Hey fellas, I'm putting a new DAW together, and am needing advise on a video card. Which one would be less likely to disturb Cool Edit Pro while I'm digitizing 8 analog tracks at the same time. So far, I have an Intel D845PEBT2 motherboard, 512MB PC2700 PC certified DDR ram, M-Audio Delta 1010LT, 2 7200RPM western digital hard drives. I can't use my Matrox g200TV AGP 2X (3.3V) card with the new motherboard, as it has only a 1.5 volt 4X slot. Should I get another matrox AGP 4X card, an ATI AGP card? Or should I get a PCI video card so I can swap it around should I have any IRQ problems? Thanks in advance for any advice. Rod

The matrox G450 is well regarded for DAW work. I have the 16MB dual head version and it works fine.

Went to see what they are going for on eBAY and found this listing:

Buy it now for $30 + $9 to ship. well below the going rate. I bought one - there's one left. I'll be at 32MB - probably not a significant difference, but why not - I'll sell my 16MB for $20 or more.
Might want to motor on over, I doubt it will last too much longer (either that or I'm just a sucker).
