Just thought I'd throw this out there, and see if you production gods or Syntrillium/Adobe guys would have an idea as to what to do.
I'm using a production library (yes, I bought it, original CDs, no CDRs here) that uses index marks on the tracks to split up one track into multiple effects.
I've noticed, however, that the Extract Audio From CD function doesn't support extraction by index marks, nor can I find one that does so. Obviously, I'd like to be able to forego cutting each track up into the individual effects by hand.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Indices are so little used these days (were they ever?) that I think you have a twofold problem here;
1 - Is the CD player, you are using to rip from, capable of reading indices? My guess is that many are not.
2 - Even if it is, I doubt there is much software around which understands them either.
3 - (only just thought about this one) Is your CD Writer index capable - some aren't.
As a stab in the dark, have you checked out Feurio - www.feurio.com ? Personally, I hate its interface, but it does do a lot more than your average bit of ripping software and maybe they've covered this aspect as well. I know it can write indices, not sure if it can read them as well.

Feurio's website does say this... | Quote: | "Virtual CD Player":
This player plays the arranged CDs of a project exactly as the later burned CD would sound (incl. the pauses/transitions) | Which leads me to believe that it DOES read index marks.

Doesn't ExactAudioCopy extract index marks?

EAC does in fact do it with some tweaking. I was surprised, as it seemed the only other option was going to be RipIt from creativenetworkdesigns, which is a $690.00 buyout according to their site.
Thanks for the help, guys.

Ouch is right! What's amazing is that CreativeNetworksDesign can get away with charging an outlandish price for something that can be had for the price of a postcard and a stamp!! That's all EAC cost!!
