Has anybody used or checked out this drum plugin. I downloaded the demo and played around on some of my drum tracks. Its a great directX
tool. I'm interested to see if anybody else uses it and how they find it.
Thanks SteveW

I tried it out a long while back. I don't really have a need for anything like that, but if I did... I would use Fruityloops. Shy

Thanks for the reply Voodoo. I havent used fruityloops, does it do a similar job?I use Sampletank for most of my sequencing but I was interested in the way you could edit the drum sound after it was recorded in audio.
cheers SteveW

As far as I know, Fruityloops doesn't have any sort of drum replacement tools in it, and if it does, I highly doubt that it's anywhere near the caliber of Drumagog. I used the demo awhile back and really liked it. If I had any use for that sort of tool, I'd grab it up right away, but I'm a strong believer in making sure things are tracked right in the first place.

I tried the demo too and didn't like it at all. That thing is not for me.

It seemed quite interesting to me. I'll download the demo a bit later...

Of course, it IS best to track right. But it seems a great tool to fix some 'impossible' drums. Sometimes those snares can be very hard to get right. Especially if the snare itself doesn't sound very good. Then it can be good to have a tool like this I think.

Downloaded the thing...experimented a bit and it seems really ok! I tested it on some hard drumtracks (lots of dynamic- and tempochanges)and it did really well. I liked the fact that you could decide how much of the dynamics the sample should 'mimic'. Very good to get an even track without having to compress (alter the sound) too much.

I think I'll buy this one some time! Thanks for the tip signman!Smile

I love this tool. I have used it once on a f***ed up BD-track. It really helped me out. You can use a cheap mic on a drun just to get the click and dynamic, and the use drumagog.

A nice tool if you don't have to many quality-mic's, or if you have any bad tracks.

And, for sure: FruityLoops can not do tha same job!
