I'm thinking of buying another system soon. It will be based around AMD Duron 1.3G and it's going to be used for basic editing, sort of a back-up for my P4. The thing is, I can't decide which motherboard I should go with.

Choice one: AMD 1800+ system, which is a bundle containing ECS K7SEM with Duron 1.3 (overclocked by ECS to the speed of XP 1800 - hence the name) and 256 DDR Ram installed.
I'm not a big fan of overclocked systems, but I guess I can slow it down through the BIOS if it gets unstable. Uses Sis chipset.

Choice two: Duron 1.3 with ASRock K7VM2. Also uses DDR memory though it's added separately. I already own two Asus boards and am very happy with their performance, but this one has VIA chipset.

Both motherboards have on-board video (which is fine by me) and the final price is basically the same.

Does anyone has any experience with these motherboards regarding audio work?

Thanks,

Makedon
