Please advise me on what is considered to be the best Windows based low cost Voice recorder solution which has voice enhancement features (Cool Edit 2000, Cool Edit Pro, or other)as well as the best input devices (sound cards, microphones.
I require such a software package in order to do promos, jingles, commercial, spots.

Voice enhancement features which helps to improve the voice fidelity is a must.

Thanks for the help.

For 'low cost' and 'voice enhancement features' the answer is simple, COOL EDIT PRO.

In an earlier thread, I stated that I use CEP exclusively for all my radio productions [in-house & clients], and I have two other [well known & expensive] systems to to choose from as well, but I always opt for CEP.

A note about improving 'voice fidelity'. if all your components [mic, cables, sound card, etc] are broadcast quality, the need to improve 'voice fidelity' is non-existent. if the 'voice' your using needs 'fidelity' improving, find another voice. there is no software that will make gilbert godfried sound like beau weaver.
