Why not ASIO? I have been looking oni the forums for like an hour. I would like to use CEP2.0 with my digi001, and not just the retarded wave driver thing, I need to record 8 tracks simultaNEOUSLY. Damn caps key...
someone gimme a helping hand please.

Well, since this has already been discussed ad nauseum here, and quite recently, I might add, you might try a search for ASIO on these forums, first...

actually, i tried several searches and none answered my question. Several people wanted to use a digi001 on cep, and the only response they got was other people ****ing about pro tools. Also, I know that asio is not supported. I was just wondering what kind of drivers CEP uses for multi-track recording, since I am not using a stereo cable into a line in. I know there's some people here who actually use it with the aardvark q10 and other multi-input devices. Since I already know how to use CEP I would rather not bother with that pro tools crap.

Quite simply, either VxD or WDM - the choice will be predicated upon your OS, hardware, and the quality of your audio card's driver.
