I'm having trouble opening AudioVault-generated .wav files (via the Imp/Exp Tool) using CEP...anyone in the forum have any experience with this?

thanks!

Hi Nelson,

Fellow AudioVault user here, but our engeneer will not alow anything to co-exist on the network with the AV software... so I can't help you with importing directly from CEP to AV... Only importing from CD to AV (our weekend network stuff).

Yeah, same here...engineers are funny that way, arent' they? Actually, I'm trying to go the other direction. You can export cuts from AudioVault as .wav files using their import/export tool, but I can't get the resulting files to open in CEP - I end up with a file that's "raw/headerless data". Funny thing is, I sent one of those files to BE Systems and they were able to open it using the CEP 2.1 demo download. Meanwhile, I can't open it. I've tried everything I can think of to no avail. Time for more experimentation. (And if you get a chance, give the import/export tool a try and see if you can get it to work.)

Hi

Check the sample rate. In Dalet we are at 48,000 hz and on a c.d. you know its 44,100..so we can't import ........may be there a problem somewhere around that.
good luck !
