Hi there,
I've been trying to use the cd burning plug (version 2) with Cool Edit Pro 2.1 and am having no luck. I can compile the tracks etc but even when trying a test write it kicks out an error saying it failed the "cue sheet generation".
Is it something that I'm doing wrong, or has anyone else experienced this?
Thanks in advance,
PJH.

The CD Burner plug in is still a beta release, so it may not work in your configuration with your CDR drive. A quick email to Support should get things fixed up.

Check your Adaptek drivers. I had to load the drivers before it would work for me. Another symptom is that the CD Rip didn't work either until the drivers were installed. Note that the very last driver from Adaptek doesn't work and you need to get one thats a revision older.
Check for a number of forum threads re the subject.

The first thing to do is check out this knowledgebase article - and there are a couple of others in there as well. This seems to cure a lot of problems with CD-writing!

Thanks for the replys. I've tried all of the suggestions but still no luck. I did get a reply from support telling me that my CDR drive is not supported. Funny though that it worked with Windows ME but not with XP Pro.
Cheers,
Peter.

Try turning off the built in burning software within XP. That program has been known to choke third party burning programs.
