When I record on track 1 in Cool Edit Pro 2.1, and then arm track 2, whatever I recorded on track 1 is also copied on track 2 when I hit record, and yes, only track 2 is armed at the time. Muisc is only coming through headphones, not monitors, so there is no bleeding. Ihave a creative card (Audigy 2). Mixer is going into line in, in sound card and line out is going into headphone port in, and monitors are coming from output of headphone port so that i can mute monitors when I want to. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
P.S. it just started doing this recently but i dont remember making any changes.

Welcome to the forum wondaboy. I had this same problem when I first started recording. Here is how to fix it:
Double click on the volume control icon in the task bar. Click Options, then Properties. Check recording, click OK, then select line in.
If there is no volume control icon (the little speaker) in your task bar, you can use the control panel to get to the recording properties as well... Good Luck!

The "Setting the Windows Mixer" thread in the 'Tips and Tricks' forum here goes into more detail, if required.
