Hello all, I'm trying to record an audio signal (from cassette) with CEP 2.1 via a Creative Labs Audigy 2 sound card. The tape player is connected to the "Line in 3" jack at the back of the Audigy external box. I get good sound through my computer's speakers, but Cool Edit is recording nothing. I've also tried this setup through the "Line in 1" (mic) jack with an adapter, and still nothing happens. I've checked all recording levels on my PC and I can't see where the problem is. Can anyone give me some advice?

Options/Device Order. Make sure that Line 3 is specified for recording in Edit View (EV).

Thanks for the help, but I fixed the problem by reinstalling my soundcard software >:K I suppose I should have tried that first.
