I have a problem with Cool Edit I'm hoping y'all can help me out with. (Did I just say y'all??)
I had a demo copy of CEP2 downloaded on my computer and everything was working fine. Of course, being a demo copy, it only lasts a few days, so I got a CD of the full version. I uninstalled the demo copy and installed the new CEP to my computer. Now when I try to record or play anything, all I get is an error saying the WAV files aren't supported and I should try switching to a device supported by my soundcard. I went to Settings/Devices as suggested and tried different things there with no luck. "HELP" suggested deleting all .ftl files, so I did that and still have the same problem. I uninstalled again and tried to reinstall the demo version and now I am having the same error with that as well.
I've now uninstalled EVERYTHING to do with CEP until I can find an answer to this problem. Any suggestions??

Contact Syntrillium in the morning (they don't work week-ends), and they'll get it sorted out for you. Just have your serial # ready and once they verify your copy they go straight to work for you! They are wonderful!

I finally figured it out though.
I'm not sure what I did, but everything is working the way it should now. I'm one of those that has to mess with it until it's fixed or completely FUBAR'ed.
I'll be sure to pop in if I have any more problems though.
