Hi, I just bought a TC electronic M300 double engine processor. I read in the manual that you can use the M300 as A to D converter when doing harddisc recordings. Quote: "The M300 must act as Master clock in this setup and you must therefore set your soundcard to act as Slave. There can be different names for this setting but "external clock", "External Sync" or "Slave" are commonly used phrases."
Well, I see none of those phrases in CEP.
I do see SMPTE slave enable and master enable in the options menu. Are these the ones?
thx

The problem is that you're looking in the wrong place - CE has nothing to do with this. You need to tell your audio card that it will be the slave - there should be a setting in its mixer/control-panel, if it has one at all. So what kind of audio card do you have?
Best... -Jon
