any users out there recording successfully in multitrack view with a terratec dmx6 fire? if could you please post your record buffer settings? even better if you are on an nforce2 mobo... i'm getting occassional little clicks in otherwise flawless recordings.

I'm using the DMX 6 Fire. I've only recorded some acoustic guitar and vocals so far using and Audio Technica ATR 30 Mic, and/or a MXL 990 Condenser Mic with an ART Tube MP pre-amp. I haven't tried optimising my system lately, but I get some very good recordings.
My settings are:
Total Buffer Size 2 seconds
Buffers 10
Cache Size 32768
Preview Buffer 250ms
Playback Buffer size 1 sec
Playback buffers 10
Record buffer size 2 sec
Record Buffers 10
Background Mixing Priority 2
Do a search on optimizing your system, some good stuff here.
