I have just purchased a Motu 2408 mk3 set for my project studio and connected the whole thing. My main recording device is a Yamaha AW4416 workstation, with wich I regularly do live recordings. It has two optical Adat i/o cards fitted. Playing multi-channel material from the Yamaha to the Motu interface works fine as far as the Motu interface is concerned. The led bars show what's going in, and the outputs work perfectly over the monitor loudspeakers. But whilst adjusting all of the CE PRO settings through a lovely book, I found under OPTIONS that CE PRO 2.1 does not even know or notice the excistence of the internal MOTU soundcard. The dialogue Windows only speak from Wapper-devices (???). Checking via This Computer shows that I have a perfectly working MOTU soundcard. Trying to record the outgoing AW4416 signals give zero results; there's nothing coming in. Could you tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Under your Windows Control Panel/Sounds and Multimedia:
What sound devices are listed there (and yes, avoid the WaveMapper at all costs!)?
Any details you can give us on the MOTU drivers for Windows -- like, what have you installed?
And, please tell us which Windows OS you're using.
