Sorry for the question but I could NOT find the answer through the search function.
Here goes. I use CE2K. I d/l voice reducer from analogX. It is a directX plug and I have DX 8.0a. I opened and installed the plug-in. In CE2K, I cannot find the option to use this voice reducer. I have never used a plug-in before so please tell me if I did something wrong on the install or where I can find the plug-in in CE2K.
Thanks for any good responses to a total newbie question.

Hello Ibrow. You must first download the DirectX support for Cool EDit 2000. It is free, and can be downloaded from this link...

Install this, as this will allow for DX plugin functionality within Ce2k.
Startup CE2K and under the Transform Menu you should now see a Direct X area. Scroll down to Direct X and click on REFRESH THIS LIST. If you've already installed the Voice Reducer plugin, it should now show up under the Direct X list. If not, you may need to reinstall it.
