I'd rather have them include any additional plugins they develop with CEP for no extra charge.

I'm not really sure...as zemlin said. It's better if they just include them in cep. But it's good of course if other companies make plug-ins, hehe. Then we can use them too.

I'd rather they invest in keeping CEPro current and maintain their status as the leading audio editing software. IMO, there's plenty of very useful effects packaged with CEP now. Shy

If they can make plug-ins and keep doing just what they are doing, that would be OK if they included them in CEP updates, but it's most important to have a solid core and integrated functions. Tongue

That's so great I think about cep. You can actually make a whole record with it, without having to buy extra plug-ins. That can't be said of all the other ones out there who often come with a very limited amount of effects.

All hail Cool Edit!Big Grin And this is seriously meant, this program is great. I have (had) some other ones but I always get back to cep eventually.

Didn't vote: I would prefer if synth made their plug-ins available to others as a separate package.

I agree with you, Havoc. That's the way I feel about the MIDI thing. Make it a package and if someone wants to spend their $$$ on it.... cool, but don't make everyone! Wink

If they develop anything new, Synt's always included it in the next CEP udate or had it as freeware on their website (see the tremolo plugin). I'd hate to see that change. If they wanted to split out the extisting effects as plugins, that wouldn't apply to me and I really could care less. In reality, they are missing very few effects anyway ... a multiband compressor, an exciter, and maybe an optical compressor emulation would be about it.
