Does anyone know if/how I can get Antares Auto-Tune 3 DirectX plug-in under CE2000 to use a MIDI file as its pitch target? The only choices it offers on its MIDI target source drop-down list are: MP-401 and TTS Virtual Piano. I would rather use a file than real-time input.
Thanks,

I've never actually used this feature, so the following is more guesswork than anything else, on my part.
The drop down list is merely a list of the midi inport ports available on your system - you have two showing, I have five. This is because I have more than one midi capable soundcard installed.
If wanted to try using a file as the source, I'd play it through one card, link that cards midi out to another cards midi in - and select the latter cards port as the 'source' in Antares.
If this idea works, that may be the answer to your question - I might even try it out, but this is not the time of year for playing around, there are other demands on my time at this particular moment.
Should it work, then you need another midi capable card - but even the cheapest rubbish would suffice, so it's not an expensive addition to the system.

Thanks, Graeme. That sounds reasonable. I shall try it once the stores are less mobbed.
BTW-1: I fixed the website link. BTW-2: I worked in Madrid for a year or two many years ago (Franco was still alive). We lived out past Puerta de Sol. Enjoyed it enormously.
Have a Merry Xmas.

I'm in Almeria province - about 700 km from Madrid and it's a lot warmer here . There's been a few changes since Franco's time, maybe you should check it out again.
Seasons greetings.
