Using DX plug in causes crash in 1.5

It doesn't happen every time, but when I apply multi band compression, a Direct X plug in, the progress meter will get to 100% and I get the message that audition is closing and I need to start where I left off.

I have done a "refresh" on all my DX plug ins, I do a "preview", etc. but still, 1.5 crashes.

I still have CE 96 installed and I can use all the DX plugins in it without problem.

Are there some tweaks I'm missing here?
